Join us in The Yard for a heartwarming celebration of love, culture, and summer vibes at the Double Seven Love Festival – a modern take on Chinese Valentine’s Day, hosted by Wuyu Living. 

This vibrant evening will introduce you to the traditions behind Qixi Festival – the ancient love story that inspired it – while bringing people together through music, community, and fun. Sing your heart out at karaoke, soak up the end-of-summer energy, and dance into the night with sets from our resident DJs.

Our story

Established in 2020, Platform Shop was a cozy, independent store in the heart of Canterbury, dedicated to supporting local creativity.

The shop has now closed but we continue to sell gallery items online.

We are taking a well deserved break from the retail world and, along with our partner company Bryter Digital are putting together plans to transform Platform into a multi-use event, creative  and workshop venue with space to run pop-ups, live shows and cozy evenings both inside and out.

Our shop is next to the level crossing in St. Dunstan’s Street in the West End Quarter of Canterbury. We’re only a few minutes walk from the Westgate Towers or Canterbury West Station.
