Inle Lake is one of Myanmar’s most iconic destinations. At 900 meters above sea level, the lake nestles in the Nyaung Shwe Valley.
The Intha fisherman still conserve the traditional leg-rowing technique. They are well known throughout Asia for their unique way of rowing, using a leg to hold the oar instead of their arms and recognisable for their conical fishing nets.
This image was photographed by Poppy when she visited Myanmar in 2018.
The limited edition size for this print is 100, and is exclusive to Platform gallery.
