Jo Oakley is a professional artist working for years painting and printmaking. Moving to the Kent Coast in the last seven of them has changed her work from sea longing to sea dwelling. Her observations of her environment in Herne Bay are subtly portrayed. Her life long love for vintage is apparent in her signature ‘Dresser and Shelf’ paintings of still life. Her linocuts are whimsical images of sea folk and sea life.
